Posting should be important...

But I've been busy for a past couple weeks, and so I'm a slacker. So, I'll post some videos!

This is a cool video of someone building a Lego Millenium Falcon in stop motion. The music didn't agree with me, but it's fun enough to watch muted.

Here is a substance called Ferrofluid, some sort of liquid, probably a type of oil, impregnated with a ferric material, which makes it magnetic in nature. Really cool to watch!

This one's cool, some sort of puzzle thing.

Here is some sort of amazing Rubik's cube, that is literally two in one!

Oh, and just one more really cool thing:

Anyhow, I'll do my best to update more often.

Secret Lego Vault

Apparently, somewhere, Lego keeps a secret vault with nearly every Lego set ever made. Gizmodo got an exclusive visit to it.

Luck bastards...

Some random videos...

Every now and again I like to post cool, funny, or interesting videos from the internet, for readers who visit to peruse.

The first video I'd like to post today is a Half Life 2 video. There's a level designer of some sort on Half Life 2, and some people like to make Rube Goldberg devices using the game's top rated physics engine.

The second video is so cool. I am a big fan of Nerf weapons, and I can only imagine that the people who made this video had a ton of fun with it!

Yay for Citroen stuffs!

Anyhow, something on the internet caught my attention and I decided that I was going to find all those Citroen commercial things. First of all, while I was looking, I found some vids of a customized Citroen C2 at a recent London car show. This thing was cool, sporting a strangely alien look, with organic looking parts, mechanical looking parts, and video displays everywhere. It only has one seat inside, but has a really awesome internal setup. Next, I found the full version of the dancing Citroen commercial. It's almost twice as long, and show the car stretching it's servos before it's video debut. This ad became somewhat of a cultural hit, and a spoof of it came out soon afterward. At a publicity event, Citroen hired a pair of dancers to dress up as car robots and move to the music, that's cool too. Lastly, Citroen made a new commercial, this one was ice skating, instead of dancing. Notice, it's the same make and model of car, completely different transformation. And what sparked my interest in this? The man who directed the original dancing Citroen commercial is directing the Halo movie.

This is insane.....

So, today is the first day of the hydroplane races here in the Tri-Cities. In between heats, there is also an airshow that goes on. The last few years we've had a local F/A-18 flying around, thrilling the spectators and pissing off the neighbors. So, I got online to find some sweet airplane videos. I think I got what I wanted.

First up, this insane story, of an F-15 pilot who suffered a midair collision, the worst possible accident for a pilot, yet managed to make it home. Wait till you see how he did it.

Next, we have another airborne disaster, where a YF-22 makes an emergency landing without it 's landing gears. Despite what the title of the video says, this is indeed a prototype YF-22 and not a production version, as you can see from the shape of the rear elevators. (hope I got my terminology right....)

Now, for some positive stuff. A couple of promotional videos made by Lockheed Martin about the F-22. Good golly, that plane is so hot!

A cool video about the JSF F-35 "Lightning II"

What appears to be an oldie but a goodie, some SR-71 footage. Looks good!

And lastly, another F-22 montage.

Another video day!

First off, Tim's 360 is still unloved. :(

The first video is pretty funny. It depicts the Japanese police force versus Darth Vader, the dark lord of the Sith. Yeah, guess who wins.... Second, we have a cool Trigun AMV. Not much to say about that, other than it's cool, and it has a kickin' song from Halo 2. Third, a lightsaber fight off YouTube. It starts off with a really sappy Revolutionary War era love letter, then gets to the good part. The choreography was fantastic! Last off YouTube, possibly the best one of the day. You know how James Earl Jones was in movies other than Star Wars? And he had lines other than Vader? Yeah, look what happens when you cross those. Finally, one from Google Video. I will say, first and foremost, I love Japanese people, culture, music, food, language, and shows, but I will also say that whenever you hear of someone who is so good at something that it's quite disturbing, that person is almost always Japanese. Case in point:

And last but not least, some YTMND stuffs. Enjoy!
Thwomps thwomping.
Daft Punk Osaka.
Friggin' hilarious Shinji.
New Character in Halo 3.

Rube Goldberg...

According to Wikipedia, Rube Goldberg was a cartoonist, perhaps most famous for his "Rube Goldberg machines" — devices that are exceedingly complex and perform very simple tasks in a very indirect and convoluted way. This video depicts one of the best Rube Goldbergs I have seen.

Today was a Google Video day.

Yeah, I got on Google Video today to find some cool stuff, and I think I did a pretty good job. First I went on to try and find some good Stargate stuff, and I found a couple things. First up, I found this video of Amanda Tapping and Richard Dean Anderson in a fun little blooper reel. Next up is a couple of producers singing along to the SG-1 intro, the hidden lyrics!!! After coming up with a bunch of nothing after that, I started to search Gundam, then figured that I had done that to death, and I wanted to check out on Evangelion. So I searched that and found some great goodies. First up, anyine who is vaguely intrested in Evangelion needs to see this video. In my opinion, one of the best music videos EVAR!!!! The next video was kinda funny, the Cruel Windows' Thesis. This next one is a music video, "In The End." Cool song, cool video. This next AMV is really wicked cool as it is, but the subtitles are what makes it worth it. Anyhow, last but not least, a soundclip from MGS: Substance, with Evangelion clips. Coolness.

Wahoo!! Google Video rocks even more now!!

Google Video was rockin' awesome before, but now it's even cooler, because I'm on it!! Yes, they posted my Primus video, where I show everyone how he is transformed, and do it without the benefit of my Chip Square which Takara said was 'required' for transformation.
